On Monday 6th June 2022, it's the public holiday for the Queen's Birthday. Here's what you need to do to ensure your team gets paid on time.
Do I need to change anything?
Saturday 4th June can be a pay day, but Tuesday 7th June cannot be a pay day because the public holiday falls on Monday 6th June and the banks are closed.

Some of your employees might work on this public holiday, or have time off. They could also be taking annual leave. You’ll need to add all the different pay types into your timesheets before you run your next pays.

Direct Debiting
Your Pay Day is Tuesday 7th June
Your pay will not process on this day and you will find the Pay Day has moved to the next day. You can still click ‘confirm and debit’ as you would normally but your employees will get paid a day later.
If you'd rather pay your employees earlier then you can log into Thankyou Payroll and create a pay manually with an earlier pay date.
Your Pay Day is Wednesday 8th June
Your pay will process on this day, but if you normally use the 1 day plan you will need to click 'confirm and debit' by 6pm Friday 3rd June.
Your Pay Day is Thursday 9th June
Your pay will process on this day, but if you normally use the 2 day plan you will need to click 'confirm and debit' by 6pm Friday 3rd June.
Pay Automation
Your Pay Day is Tuesday 7th June
Your pay will not process on this day and you will need to log into Thankyou Payroll and create a pay manually with a New Pay Day.
If you are changing your Pay Day to earlier, remember you will need to change your Automatic Payment to transfer the funds earlier.
Your Pay Day is Wednesday 8th June or Thursday 9th June
Your pay will process on this day, but if your automatic payment is set for a Monday you will need to change this to deposit earlier.
Manual Timesheets
Your pay will not process on Tuesday 7th June and you will not be able to select this day for your pay to process. If you'd rather pay your employees earlier then you can log into Thankyou Payroll and create a pay manually with an earlier pay date.
