What will I see in the Portal once a pay has been Finalised?

During the trial, Thankyou Payroll does not communicate back to the portal regarding timesheet data. Information flows one way only, from the Payroll Portal into Thankyou Payroll when you click the ‘import timesheet’ button.

Info - Blue Block (1) Employee leave balances update in the Payroll Portal with each processed pay in Thankyou Payroll.

*Also, it is important that you let us know if you've updated an employee's work pattern in Thankyou Payroll as the Portal uses this for calculations.

So for this trial, with the exception of leave balances - What is done in the Payroll Portal, shows in the Payroll Portal. What is done in Thankyou Payroll, shows on employee payslips.

Does the Payroll Portal update if I ‘Amend the pay’?

No, you amend pays in Thankyou Payroll, so the Payroll Portal does not update. If you ‘Decline’ a timesheet in the Portal, the status changes from ‘Submitted’ to ‘Declined’ in the Employee’s Payroll Portal and they can update and resubmit their timesheet.
