Selecting a Timesheet To Fill in the Payroll Portal

This article shows you how to select the timesheet you want to fill in and submit.

Employees can fill their timesheets only in the Payroll Portal. Timesheet cannot be done in the mobile Employee App.

Timesheets can be filled and submitted by:

This Team's Team Leaders (on behalf of a team member)
Any Admin User (on behalf of an employee)
This Employee (own timesheet)
Another Employee (someone else's timesheet)

Info - Blue Block (1)If the Leave Request feature is active and the employee has requested leave that has been approved, this approved leave will pull into the timesheet automatically and you will see it when you fill the timesheet.

Let's look at an example timesheet in the Payroll Portal:

In the Timesheet Week Summary View you will see the following areas:

  1. The due date for this timesheet is shown in red above the pay period days and entries. 
  2. To view a different pay period, click in this grey box. You will see a dropdown menu with pay weeks.

  3. Today is clearly marked with a purple calendar icon.
  4. In this top area, you can see the summary and status of this timesheet. At the moment you have not added any hours to this and the timesheet is still a draft.

If you leave this Portal without pressing the ‘Submit Now’ button, your data will be there the next time you log in.

The Payroll Portal saves all entries automatically.

*If the Timesheets feature is turned off for this employee, all unapproved timesheets will be permanently deleted.
